Reflexion from Eudald

It is near two weeks since we came back from Ruai. Altough I would have to clarify the verb “come back”: physically I am already in Spain, but my head is still enjoying the staying there. Almost I can say that I am still there.
Really, a travel of the characteristics of ours do not leave anyone indifferent. It is impossible to return and be the same person that has gone.
On one hand for all we have given and that has made us happy: our time, ours efforts, to teach and carry out scholar and creative activities with the children of there, the construction of the main road of the school to avoid the children getting plenty of mad when rains, the construction of the structure to put upon the water tank to let school to have current water, the medical attendance, the scholar material and drugs that have left there as well as the money and plenty of things more.
On the other hand for all we have received and that have improved us: the contact with the people there, if you know how to take the opportunity, can enrich you as human being.
And finally, for the enormous ilusion that now we have to continue working in order to contribute with our best –our “grain of sand”- for all those people we have met in Ruai and other cities of Kenya, that are still needing of our and yours contribution.

Testimony from Fr. Tony

Dear AMEAFRICA,
In your last visit to Kenya and more especially to Ruai, you left a great impact of good deeds and work there. Your work in the teaching of the children in our school was amazing, your medical concern for the people of Ruai was tremendous and your construction of a water Tank and the road within the school are all things we can be proud of.
We look forward to seeing you back again to Kenya. You recognised the administration block being built in the school. It is my hope that within the administration block that is being built in the school we can dedicate the sick bay to AMEAFRICA. To construct and furnish the sickbay will cost us a little above 6000 Euros. Kindly think about it and see if you can help in that area from a distance.
I will like to thank you immensely for your great support. I pray this friendship between us will continue for a long time to come. Kindly send me the post box address of AMEAFRICA. Stay well always.
Yours in the service of God’s people,
Fr Tony Amissah, SVD
